On my 30th birthday I was gifted the book ‘Many Lives, Many Masters’ by Brian Weiss. A true story of a traditional psychiatrist who becomes a believer in reincarnation after a patient recalls past lives under hypnosis. He eventually goes on to become one of the most famous past life regressionists today. I remember being completely captivated by this book yet at the same time also feeling utterly confused. ‘Could reincarnation be real?’ Nobody has ever really talked to me about this. I had a hard time making up my mind until the next morning when the most incredible thing happened to me that changed the course of my life 180 degrees. 

Here’s what happened: I woke up and walked to the bathroom. At this point I was two thirds through the Many Lives book, right away I’m contemplating whether to believe this book or not. And then I hear a voice outside of myself, and it said: ‘You knew about reincarnation all along, it’s just time for you to remember it now.’ Alongside this message was also a strong physical sensation, it was as if all the cells in my body got switched on and I felt absolutely ecstatic. As you might imagine, I was in awe. I literally had to sit down to process what was happening. But within that moment I went from wondering to believe in reincarnation or not to knowing it. It was there and then that I decided, okay so this is true which means that I need to know all there is to know about reincarnation, about past life regression and about spirituality in general because apparently there is a whole world out there that, at that point, I knew zero about.
